98 NEW LASALLIAN PHARMACISTS | TOP 3 PERFORMING PHARMACY SCHOOL 🏆

The Dr. Mariano Que College of Pharmacy (DMQCP) of the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute proudly celebrates the success of its 98 newest Lasallian Pharmacists who passed the October 2026 Pharmacist Licensure Examination, held on October 15–16, 2026.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, Manuel Moises San Jose Varias secured Top 9 in the licensure examination with an outstanding rating of 94.90%!

DMQCP has also earned recognition as the Top 3 Performing Pharmacy School, a testament to the College's unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality pharmacy education, and professional development.

At DMQCP, our mission goes beyond producing board passers. We strive to develop competent, compassionate, and globally competitive pharmacists who are not only prepared to excel in licensure examinations but are also equipped with the knowledge, skills, values, and confidence to thrive in real-world pharmacy practice and make meaningful contributions to healthcare.

Congratulations to our 14 new Lasallian Chemists and 30 new Lasallian Chemical Technicians for successfully passing the October 2026 licensure examinations, with both groups achieving a 100% passing rate!

Special cheers to the 13 BS Pharmacy alumni who passed the Chemical Technician Licensure Examination, demonstrating how pharmacy education opens doors to diverse career opportunities in science and technology beyond traditional pharmacy practice.

Congratulations to ATHEA ELAIZA R. OMBION and CHRISTIAN NICCOLO F. VALENCIA for winning BEST POSTER PRESENTATION at the SDGs Connect International Conference 2026, organized by Universitas Airlangga and held on October 14–16, 2026, in Surabaya, Indonesia.

They represented their group’s undergraduate thesis entitled “Evaluating the Membrane-Disruptive and Potentiating Antibacterial Activity of Oregano (Origanum vulgare) Leaf Essential Oil Combined with Cloxacillin Against Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus.” The thesis was advised by Instr. Angelle Mae L. Naoe, RPh.

The conference also featured the poster presentations of fellow student researchers from the Dr. Mariano Que College of Pharmacy:
Arnel Jr B. Tolentino, Cielo Mari P. Sierra, Yzabelle Rain M. Bancoro, John Benedict B. Romano, and Vianne Germaine D.V. Gonzalvo. Their participation highlights the college's growing engagement in research and international academic exchange.

Joining the delegation were student representatives from the College of Nursing. The DLSMHSI delegates were accompanied by Dr. Marjorie Fay P. Sta. Maria, Chair, Research and Development of the College of Nursing, along with other school administrators.

This achievement reflects our students' dedication to scientific inquiry, research excellence, and collaboration across disciplines and institutions.

The Health Technology Assessment Council (HTAC) warmly welcomes ten (10) BS Pharmacy students from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI) as they begin their internship with us today, 05 October 2026.

Over the next few weeks, our interns will dive into the HTA process and learn how evidence helps shape health decisions in the Philippines. 💡
