The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), through its Resource Generation Office (RGO), announces the opening of applications for the Real Life Foundation Scholarship Program, providing qualified students with an opportunity to receive educational assistance in support of their academic pursuits.
The scholarship program seeks to support academically deserving students from financially disadvantaged households, helping them pursue their education and achieve their academic and personal goals.
ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
• Must be a Filipino citizen.
• Must be unmarried, have no children, and be not older than 25 years old upon scholarship admission.
• Must have a total combined household net monthly income of PHP 20,000 or less.
• Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a school recognized by DepEd or CHED.
• Must have a grade weighted average equivalent to 88% or higher for the past three (3) school years.
• For senior high school students, must be enrolled in a school offering free tuition or accepting DepEd vouchers.
• For college students, must be enrolled in a state university or a private school charging not more than PHP 15,000 per semester for tuition and miscellaneous fees.
• College applicants must be incoming first-year or second-year students.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
✔ Completed PLM Scholarship Application Form: (see link in comment section)
✔ Copy of downloaded grades from PLM CRS (for continuing students) or Form 137/138 (for first-year students)
✔ Photocopy of the latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents or a Certificate of Indigency
✔ Photocopy of Single Parent ID (if applicable) or copy of Death Certificate (if parents are deceased)
✔ Barangay Certificate of Residency
✔ Certificate of Good Moral Character issued by the PLM Scholarship Committee (for continuing students) or by the senior high school (for first-year students)
✔ Photocopy of PLM University ID and current Student Enrollment Record (SER)
✔ A brief essay explaining why the scholarship should be awarded to you
Additional Documents (as required by some providers)
✔ NSO/PSA-issued Birth Certificate
✔ Autobiography
✔ Latest family photograph
✔ Copy of latest water and electric bills indicating monthly consumption
✔ Photos of the applicant’s residence, including the dining room, living room, bathroom, and bedroom where the applicant usually stays
✔ Sketch or vicinity map of the applicant’s residence to help the provider easily locate the house for home visitation purposes
Interested students may submit their requirements at the Resource Generation Office (RGO), 3rd Floor, Executive Building (Bahay Maynila), on or before November 13, 2026 (5:00 PM).
Qualified applicants may be shortlisted and endorsed for an interview as part of the scholarship provider's selection process.
