It seeks to articulate a strong focus on the effectiveness and the efficiency of all its academic-related endeavors--administration, curriculum and instruction, research, community involvement programs, student services, facilities, and operations. Accordingly, the universali
ty of learning across various disciplines, cultures, perspectives, and backgrounds, is what drives SMCTI to aim continuously for total QTIME --- that, education shall not be limited to a conventional way of traversing to academic excellence and completion, but by also allowing cross-cultural and international academic engagements. This is also the reason why the students at SMCTI are given the opportunity to express their ingenuity, are empowered to engage in various community involvement and disaster readiness programs, and research engagements, not only because these are inherent in the curriculum but also, because of the inevitable fact that as future Ignacian-Marian graduates, they need to be readily prepared professionally and personally in extremely volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous surroundings. The QTIME undertakings of SMCTI are infused with the core values of faith, excellence, and service. These values are intrinsically related to one another, which propel the SMCTI community to maneuver the world with confidence, humility, and with the aim to help make the world a better place.
