‎
‎Four days of competition, teamwork, and school spirit marked the journey of the College of Engineering (COE) Iron Beavers in the CTU Tuburan and Tabuelan Intramural Games 2026.
‎
‎From the opening parade and ceremony to the different sporting events, the Iron Beavers represented their department with determination and pride. Their efforts brought home podium finishes across various events, including gold medals in taekwondo and the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang women’s category, silver finishes in softball, pickleball, badminton men’s doubles, and men’s chess, and bronze finishes in athletics, radio drama, badminton women’s doubles, table tennis men’s doubles, and women’s chess.
‎
‎Beyond the competition, the Iron Beavers also took part in the cultural presentations, showcasing their talents and creativity on stage. From sports and performances to the cheers and shared moments throughout the event, Engineering students continued to show their commitment, teamwork, and school spirit.
‎
‎As the games transitioned into cultural competitions and an evening of dancing, the celebration became an opportunity to build friendships, create memories, and strengthen the bond among students.
‎
‎The intramurals were more than a pursuit of medals. They were a celebration of effort, camaraderie, and the pride of representing the College of Engineering.

𝑰𝒓𝒐𝒏 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝒖𝒑 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒚 in both doubles championships. No gold, only silver, yet there was nothing quiet about how they played.

𝑰𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏’𝒔 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, Unit 4’s Bejewel Aubrey Melgar and Sheerah Segismar controlled the net early, mixing sharp angles with patient resets to pull ahead and hold the lead in the first set. The Panthers answered with relentless defense and quick counters, winning the second set. In the final set, the Panthers closed it out with steady composure to secure the gold. Unit 4 walked away with silver after a fight that pushed both squads to the limit.

𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕 4’𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑬𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒐𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆 matched the Panthers swing for swing in the men’s championship. The finale mirrored the same intensity. Unit 6 struck first with aggressive smashes and flawless court coverage, while Unit 4 matched the pace with strong returns and smart switches at the kitchen line. In the end, the Pink Panthers’ consistency in straight sets sealed the championship spot, leaving Unit 4 with silver but nothing to regret.

𝑻𝒘𝒐 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒔. 𝑻𝒘𝒐 𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒂𝒍𝒔. 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒆: The Iron Beavers don’t back down.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉, proving that their doubles game belongs at the top.

𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕 𝟒 𝑰𝒓𝒐𝒏 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔 secured the crown in a hard-fought Best of 5, coming back from a 2-0 deficit to win the final two games in overtime, defeating Unit 1 Fighting Legends 3-2.

𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕 𝟒 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒔𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 and took the first two games swiftly. 𝑨𝒏𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒆 𝑫𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒚 anchored the squad as roamer, setting up every key clash with bold initiation and map control. 𝑱𝒐𝒅𝒊𝒆 𝑲𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒓 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂 ran the core with unstoppable aggression, bulldozing through fights and dictating moves. 𝑿𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑯𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒈𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒏 held the exp lane with a tanky draft that soaked damage and created space, while 𝑯𝒂𝒛𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑱𝒉𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝑨𝒍𝒔𝒂𝒅𝒐’𝒔 mage burst down targets in seconds. 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐 owned the gold lane using her favored heroes from start to finish, scaling uncontested into late game.

𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔, Unit 4 secured the early 2-0 lead and stood one win from the title. But Unit 1 wasn’t done. They recalibrated their draft, disrupted Unit 4’s rotations, and clawed back Games 3 and 4 to force a decisive fifth.

𝑮𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝟓 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔, one perfectly picked champion, a clean rotation, and one final push, and the base was down.

𝑰𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒂 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒑, but the Iron Beavers proved they could come out swinging and finish stronger. The trophy was secured for the Beavers.
