The United Nations (UN) is a global organization established on October 24, 1945. To maintain world peace, protect human rights, and address global problems. Yesterday, on the 24th of October we celebrated the 81st anniversary of the United Nations, founded on the same date in 1945.

The UN prevents conflicts by promoting peace and providing humanitarian aid to countries in need and although disagreements among nations and limited resources remain challenges. Countries are encouraged to cooperate through diplomacy and shared goals, by the process of multilateralism. It is the collective cooperation of three or more countries to resolve problems. According to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres,“𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.” it means that global peace cannot be achieved unless countries work together to find solutions to the challenges they face.

Every October 20, we commemorate the 𝑳𝒆𝒚𝒕𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 1944, a historic event in Palo, Leyte that marked the return of Allied forces to the Philippines under the leadership of 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐫. This day honors the courage, sacrifices, and patriotism of those who fought for the country's freedom during World War II.

Let us add more meaning to International Day for Disaster Reduction by learning the fact that each one of us has the power to control the disaster.

This day reminds us of our duties to be cautious to save this world, to save people around us for a better tomorrow. ❤️‍🩹

Disaster preparedness starts with action and awareness. Always remember that even the smallest decisions we make can protect our lives. ✊🏼

𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐎𝐊𝐀𝐘 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐎𝐊𝐀𝐘!

Not all wounds are visible, some hide in silence. 🩹
Not all wounds heal. Some scars remain that remind us of all the battles we fought.

Sometimes, we just smile in front of our friends, but deep inside, we grapple with the challenges we face alone. 🫂
𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗸𝗮𝘆. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴.

Admitting that you are struggling is not a sign of weakness. We are always allowed to rest, to cry, to feel lost, tired, and overwhelmed. Healing takes time, 𝙃𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙞𝙣. 🌱

And just in case no one told you today, you're doing your best, and that's already enough! 🤍✨

Before, we used to say “𝙥𝙬𝙚𝙙𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙥~” we think it’s just a song by Lyca or the drawings we made in Elementary. 🎤✨

But looking back, we realized that having the courage to dream started inside the classroom. Every “𝐀𝐡 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬!" moment and every encouragement teachers’ give whenever we doubt ourselves. They are the reason why we keep going and achieving our goals!

To all teachers who tirelessly turn uncertainties into confidence: 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬.

Because of Teachers’ we get to 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬. 🙌

𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗪 𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 🐾🌎

Today, October 4, we celebrate 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑨𝒏𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒂𝒚, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the welfare and lives of animals around the world. This year’s theme, “𝐒𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐄𝐲𝐞𝐬” invites us to look beyond our own perspective and consider how animals experience the world. 🐈🐶

World Animal Day is more than a celebration. Animals are not simply animals. For many people, they are family, companions, and even their babies. They bring comfort, happiness, and love into the lives of those who care for them. 🐒🐢💕
