They say it takes a village to raise a child, but when the village needs help, it takes a Neumann alum to rise to the occasion.

More than 40 years after first arriving in Paraguay as a Peace Corps nurse, Eileen (O’Day) Sosa ’82 is still making a difference in the community that became a second home. Through Outreach Paraguay, the nonprofit she founded in 2012, Eileen supports rural schools, a mobile health clinic and a community kitchen serving up to 90 people daily.

Her story is a powerful reminder of how one person’s commitment to service can make a lasting impact.

So much talent in one Neumann community!
Our first Authors Among Us event celebrated 18 alumni and faculty authors, their diverse books, and the creativity that connects us. Delicious food, refreshing mocktails, and a panel discussion led by Yana Tamba , packed with publishing tips made it an evening of inspiration and community.
Who else belongs on our bookshelf?

If you’re a Neumann alumni or faculty author, or know someone who is, comment below or send us a message. We’d love to discover more authors among us!

At Neumann University, community doesn't stop at graduation. The Neumann University Alumni Executive Board partnered with the Neumann Nature Covenant student group for a collaborative birdfeeder-building activity. This served as a meaningful celebration of spring and the lasting connections between alumni and current students.
Events like this reflect our commitment to mentorship, engagement, and the values that define the Neumann experience. We the alumni are proud of this community! 🌿🐦

Neumann students are gaining hands-on experience while making a real difference in our community through the N.I.T.E. (Neumann Investigative Technology Excellence) Center.

As the Center celebrates its second anniversary, its impact continues to grow. Working alongside law enforcement professionals, students have helped support active investigations and contributed to nearly 1,000 police cases using advanced digital forensic technology.

This innovative program is preparing the next generation of crime-solving professionals while showcasing the real-world value of a Neumann education.
