Important Resource for enrolled students: Any students who are housing insecure have a great resource on campus to help you!

Visit the Campus Peer Navigator, Christian Perez, in the Student Services Building, Room 230 on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or email: [email protected]. You may schedule an appointment in advance or stop by on a drop in basis on Wednesdays.

These services are offered at Compton College in partnership with the Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD).

Class registration for the Winter 2027 intersession is in progress! The winter session offers a great way for students to take advantage of completing a 5-week course or two to stay on track with your education goals.

Students, make sure to review your account balances and address any outstanding fees. Students with a balance of more than $200 will have a hold placed on their account and cannot register for Winter 2027 classes until the hold is resolved.

Trunk or Treat Day is happening this Wednesday at Compton College for students and their families! Hosted by ASG and the Office of Student Development, the event takes place in front of the Gymnasium from 3 to 5 p.m. Costumes encouraged!

Time to cast your votes in 2026 General Election! Secure ballot drop-off locations for the 2026 General Election opened on October 6.

Beginning this Saturday, October 31, early voting locations throughout California will be open. Compton College is an official Voting Center in the Multipurpose Room) AND has a drop box on campus. Election Day is November 3, 2026.

NOTE: October 27 is the recommended “mail by” date for Vote By Mail ballots.

Compton College’s Workforce Development and Adult Education is hosting a Hiring Fair on Tuesday, October 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room.

The event is in partnership with Rancho Dominguez America’s Job Center of California and Goodwill. There are currently 35 confirmed employers offering a variety of employment opportunities, including seasonal, permanent part-time, and full-time positions.
