The Southeast Museum of Photography and DSC Tabletop Gaming Club are teaming up for Ready Players Game Day this Thursday, Oct. 29, from 3-8 p.m. at the museum.
Join us for an afternoon of tabletop and video games, miniature wargaming and a cosplay contest judged by professional cosplayer Rick Stafford. Games include Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Warhammer 40K, Magic: The Gathering and a variety of classic and modern board games.

The DSC Tabletop Gaming Club will present card games, classic and modern board games in the atrium, and video games like Mario Cart & Super Smash Bros. in the Madorsky Theater. Miniature wargaming will be represented by Warhammer 40K. Magic the Gathering Budget Commander will represent collectible card gaming. Showcased board games will include Chess, Goatlords, Rummikub, Codenames, Oh No Volcano, Settlers of Catan, Flashpoint, Sherrif of Nottingham, Stupid Deaths, and World of Warcraft. Video games played in the Madorsky Theater will include Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.
Students and members of the public are invited to wear their favorite character-inspired costumes. Whether you’re rocking flawless armor, a retro pixelated look, or your handmade fanart clothing and accessories, this is your ultimate stage to shine and celebrate that one game you’ve been obsessing over. Dust off your props, fine-tune your costume, and mark the date on your calendar to claim your place in the spotlight and win epic bragging rights.
