A Message from Victor Boschini sent to the TCU Community on Thursday, October 22nd around 4:50pm CT:
Dear Horned Frogs,
Today I write to share important news. This week, our colleague Daniel Pullin notified Texas Christian University Chair Kit Moncrief of his decision to resign as Chancellor. We are grateful for his many years of service and dedication to TCU.
Chair Moncrief requested that I share the below statement with the campus community:
--“We thank Daniel for his years of service at TCU. We wish him and his family only the best,” commented Moncrief.
--Pullin commented, “I would like to thank the entire Horned Frog family for the support and encouragement during my time at TCU. TCU is building the model for the future of higher education for years to come. I love our students and couldn’t be more proud of what their futures entail as they graduate and become outstanding TCU alumni. Thank you to everyone at TCU. I will always be invested in what TCU stands for.”
--Victor Boschini, TCU Chancellor Emeritus and previous 22-year TCU Chancellor, has been appointed Chancellor, effective immediately. “Victor’s proven leadership will ensure our Lead On: Values in Action strategic plan continues to be successfully implemented on behalf of our students, faculty, and our supportive community, while he and our team steward our daily campus life,” Moncrief said.
TCU’s mission and focus on student success has never been stronger and TCU continues to draw families, students and talent to Fort Worth. Leadership at all levels of TCU is unparalleled, and we will continue to invest in the best higher education experience in the country.
As we grow and invest in the value of a TCU education, we remain the same tight-knit, values-based community we’ve been for 154 years and counting. That will never change, just like the momentum and spirit of Horned Frogs will always carry us forward.
I remain grateful for the chance to continue to serve TCU, our students and our community, amongst colleagues, alumni, fans and Trustees who care so deeply for TCU.
