Earlier this week, Texas Wesleyan University came together for our Igniting Impact meeting, reflecting on the initiatives and ideas shaping the future of our university and the student experience.

From strengthening our First-Year Experience (FYE) initiatives to establishing a signature Wesleyan experience, we explored ways to help students build meaningful connections, access essential resources, and thrive throughout their college journey. Discussions also focused on reimagining university processes and student services, alongside updates from across our divisions.

We also celebrated Dr. Kimberly Webb, Presidential Faculty Award recipient, and Eric Poch, Presidential Staff Award recipient, recognizing their contributions to the Texas Wesleyan community. Congratulations to both!

Together, we continue to build on what makes Texas Wesleyan special through collaboration, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to student success!

🎉 Texas Wesleyan University welcomed Laura Bird, President of Anthracite Realty Partners, and Greg Bird, CEO and President of JETTA Operating Company, LLC, to campus for a Q&A with students in the Martin Center.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions, hear directly from experienced business leaders and gain valuable perspectives on leadership, entrepreneurship and the business world. Experiences like these connect classroom learning with real-world insight and help prepare our Rams for what’s next.

We’re proud to share that Texas Wesleyan University President Dr. Emily Messer has been appointed to the Student Aid Policy Committee of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU)! 🎉
Through this appointment, Dr. Messer will join higher education leaders from across the country to help shape federal student aid policy and advocate for greater access to higher education for students nationwide.

💙💛Texas Wesleyan University was pleased to welcome the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to campus for Women in Media, an engaging panel discussion celebrating women who are shaping stories, influencing public dialogue, and making an impact through media.

The conversation explored leadership, representation, career paths, and the important role women play in connecting our communities through journalism, communications, and storytelling.
