What an incredible night in H-Town! The Houston (TX) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. truly showed out for our 98th Anniversary Charter Day Celebration.

From the lavish dinner at the Arabia Shriners Center to the powerful words from our Keynote Speaker, Brother Khambrel Marshall, the evening was a masterclass in brotherhood and community. A huge shoutout to our MC, Brother Deven Clarke, for keeping the energy high all night long! 🎤✨

Highlights of the night included:

🏅 Honoring our incredible 50-Year Members (the blueprint!)

Brothers of the Mighty Southwestern Province, A celebration of 96 years of achievement and brotherhood! A celebration of the 90th Province Council. The 90th Southwestern Province Council Meeting, will be hosted by the Dallas (TX) Alumni Chapter and the Paul Quinn Chapter, the Lambda Lambda Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., March 25–28, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, at the Hilton Anatole Dallas.

As we look ahead to this historic milestone gathering, brothers can expect a dynamic, unique, and engaging experience. Brothers from across the province and fraternity will be attending for fellowship, celebration, and honoring the Southwestern Province legacy.

This weekend Brothers from the Houston (TX) Alumni Chapter joined Brothers from Texas and New Mexico for the 44th Annual Texas-New Mexico Caucus meeting luncheon. We were able to take care of Kappa Business yesterday, as well as fellowship with all of the Brothers in attendance all weekend. The and the Texas-New Mexico Caucus committee did an outstanding job hosting the meeting this year. We appreciate the 34th Grand Polemarch Reuben A. Shelton III, Esq. and our current Southwestern Province Polemarch C. Jerome Brown for not only their leadership, but for all that they do to continue pushing Kappa forward. 👌🏾

Today, on World Education Day, we had the absolute privilege of partnering with Outley Elementary and Room to Read to take over the classrooms and share the magic of literacy. 📖

We know that reading isn’t just about sounding out words; it’s about building confidence, sparking imagination, and handing the next generation the keys to their future. The energy in the room was unmatched, and seeing those lightbulb moments 💡 for the students was everything.

This is what the community looks like. This is what achievement looks like.
