If you need a noninvasive way to quickly confirm a cow’s pregnancy, a milk sample is all that is needed! At the Animal Health Diagnostic Laboratory, our Lab Technicians can use milk samples collected on a DHI Test Day or sent to the laboratory to confirm if a cow is pregnant.

Clean your boots!
Our DHI Field Technicians follow this safety protocol after each test day to prevent the spread of bacteria to different farms. They bring their own scrubbers, buckets, and soap to clean off their boots.
