Today is Juneteenth, a commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. It's the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Texas and informed enslaved African Americans that they were free.

The day is a celebration of freedom, resilience and community strength. To celebrate the day, find ways to celebrate, learn, explore and grow a strong community.
