Bruins, April 28th–29th is Bruin Giving Day! 🧸

Academic advising is a transformative force in a student’s journey. It offers intentional guidance, sparks reflection and opens doors to opportunity. Through personalized, compassionate and evidence-based support, advisors help students navigate challenges, discover passions and shape purposeful futures. This work requires time, care and resources, and your support makes it possible to reach students who need it.

In addition to full time staff, the Center also employs over a dozen peer counselors: specially trained UCLA students equipped to help fellow students with many common questions and topics, including academic policies, deadlines, program planning, and more.

These peer counselors can relate directly to the students they support and offer a unique perspective, getting valuable work experience in the process. Your support can help us hire more peer counselors, improve caseloads and give more students this unique opportunity.

Help us continue this work by making a gift today and investing in the advisors and student staff who support Bruins, every single day by clicking the link in our bio. 💙💛
