Thank you for having our project panel at this year’s Biscayne Bay Health Summit! 🌊

Protecting Biscayne Bay requires all of us. We were honored to share how creating inclusive, welcoming spaces helps connect more communities to environmental stewardship, conservation, and advocacy. When everyone feels represented and empowered to participate, our bay and our communities are stronger because of it.

Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation and continues to show up for Biscayne Bay. 💙

Still thinking about this Super Saturday with 🌊

Our activity with Overtown Youth Center brought participants to UM Rosenstiel and Historic Virginia Key Beach Park to explore coastal ecology, marine science careers, hands-on activities, touch tanks, history and lots of community connection.

Thank you to the National Aplysia Resource, and for sharing your work and helping bring marine research, restoration, and conservation to real life

Coral reefs do so much more than create beautiful underwater landscapes 🪸But today, reefs are facing growing threats from rising ocean temperatures, pollution, disease, coastal development, and a lot of human impacts. As these pressures increase, so does the need for hands-on restoration and community-driven conservation 🌱

That’s why our Rescue a Reef x ResilientSea citizen science expedition was such a meaningful experience. Together, participants learned about coral reef ecology and coral gardening while helping maintain the underwater coral nursery, monitor the Paradise Reef restoration site, and outplant 80+ corals back onto the reef.🥳

Follow along with us and to learn more and stay tuned for future opportunities to get involved!!!
