Join us for "Nursing in Thailand: Exploring the Health of Women and Children", a faculty-led study abroad experience taking place during UWinteriM 2027 (January 1–17, 2027). Students will have the opportunity to explore healthcare systems, cultural perspectives, and the health needs of women and children in Thailand through an immersive international experience.

📅 Applications are due October 1, 2026

This program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students from any major—you do not need to be a nursing student to apply! More information in the comments below.

Collaboration across institutions is helping shape the future of pediatric nursing research in Milwaukee.

Faculty from UWM’s School of Nursing partner with Children's Wisconsin and regional researchers through the Pediatric Nursing Research Consortium of Milwaukee to advance nurse scientist-led research and improve outcomes for children and families.

From theory-based interventions to the development of the ePed app, UWM researchers, students and clinical partners are helping translate evidence into real-world pediatric care.

A delayed post, but last week our graduating undergraduate nursing seniors officially completed their final nursing school exam! We are so proud of everything this cohort has accomplished through long study nights, clinicals, simulations, and countless moments of growth along the way.

A meaningful tradition and an unforgettable milestone. 🎓

On Saturday morning, our nursing graduates came together with faculty, family, and friends to celebrate this year’s nursing pinning ceremony. A cherished rite of passage in nursing, the ceremony marks students’ official transition from nursing school into the professional nursing community.

We are so proud of our graduates and grateful for the faculty and mentors who supported them throughout their journeys. The future of nursing is in great hands. 🖤💛
