Did you know a railway once ran right past Saint Mary’s? 🚂

Long before the Lafayette–Moraga Regional Trail became a favorite spot for walking and biking, the Sacramento Northern Railway carried passengers through the hills of Moraga, including Saint Mary’s students and faculty traveling to and from San Francisco.

Though the last train passed through in 1941, traces of the railway can still be found along St. Mary’s Road and the surrounding hillsides.

A little friendly competition, a lot of great performances, and plenty of music! 🎤

Our first-ever Lip Sync & DJ Showcase took over De La Salle Lawn on Friday night, and some of our Gaels really know how to put on a show!

From surprise mashups to full-on choreographed performances, our student clubs and teams brought the energy.
