Empower ‘08
Tau Omega VOTES

We are 9 days until the Midterm Elections!

Election Day is November 3.

Golden Saturday, Oct 24, was the first day of early voting and we resumed our efforts to conduct voter registration on 116th & Frederick Douglass Blvd.

We are now asking our sisters to continue efforts to mobilize and support next steps in our Empower ‘08 initiative.

You can take small steps to help by facilitating:

(8) or more friends, family, seniors, neighbors, youth, sorority sisters to the polls
(8) to look up their voter status
(8) to check their poll sites
(8) to review ballot proposals
(8) to join in phone banking or canvassing in areas of need
(8) to write postcards

💗💚 TARGET 7: GLOBAL COMMUNITY 💚💗
Community Service Project #1 | Project Hygiene & Toiletry Drive
📅 October 17, 2026

The Global Community Committee of Tau Omega Chapter, proudly completed its first Project Hygiene & Toiletry Drive, demonstrating our continued commitment to service and supporting women and girls in Liberia! 🌍💕

Through this meaningful initiative, we collected over 150 sanitary napkins, along with travel-size hygiene wipes and body wash. These essential items will benefit students at a school in Liberia, with the collected donations scheduled to be transported by Former LOACC Debutante Summer-Zaire Bell of Young Lens Collective in December 2026.

We were honored to collaborate with Summer-Zaire Bell and Princess Larrine-Moore of Be Cognizant, in support of this important community service initiative.

We also recognize and thank the Former Cotillion Escorts who participated in this service project and helped make it a success:

💚 Aschur Holly
💚 Salvador Pena
💚 John Chase Lucks
💚 Terrell Barnes
💚 Aneudy Tavarez

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, generosity, and support. Together, we are helping promote hygiene, dignity, and wellness while making a meaningful difference in the lives of women and girls across the globe.

✨ SAVE THE DATE: NEXT DONATION DROP-OFF — NOVEMBER 21, 2026! ✨

Our next collection will focus on the following essential items:
