From being referred to as the Speech-Drama Building to becoming Nordhoff Hall! 🏗️ Located in the southwest corner of campus, the building was constructed by Steed Bros. Construction of Alhambra and officially received its current name in the early 2000s.

Today, the building is home to the vibrant CSUN Theatre Department, featuring multiple performance spaces, including the Campus Theatre and the Little Theatre.

Beck and Sage Publishing CEO Blaise Simqu sat down for a July fireside chat hosted by the CSUN Alumni Association, exploring how higher education fuels economic mobility, powers Southern California’s workforce and prepares future leaders in an age of AI. With more than 435,000 alumni across the region, President Beck put it simply: “We don’t just serve L.A. — we are L.A.”
