Look who’s going to dental school! 🦷

Alumna Mallory McCoy earned her BS in Biology from Oklahoma City University in 2003 and her MBA with a focus in Healthcare Administration in 2025. A former OCU softball player, Mallory is now pursuing her dentistry degree at the OU College of Dentistry as a member of the Class of 2030!

High school and transfer students are invited to join us for Get Psyched on Friday, Nov. 6! This half-day event will give potential students an inside look at life as an OCU Psychology student. Guests will hear from the OCU Admissions staff before engaging with Psychology faculty and current students. Students will participate in an experiment as well!

The Petree College of Arts and Sciences invites the OCU community and the public to a special presentation by Mrs. Annette Brunner and Dr. Mark Brunner.

Titled Annette Remembers: A Memoir of Life Before, During, and After the N**i Occupation of France, the presentation will offer a unique firsthand account of growing up in France during one of the most difficult periods of the twentieth century.

It's not too late to register for tomorrow's English and Film Pitch Contest!

High school students will work with OCU faculty to refine their writing skills, craft a unique story, and learn how to get published. The pitch competition will be judged by James Cooper, Oklahoma City Councilman and author of Moonlit Massacre, Lance McDaniel, CEO of McDaniel Entertainment, and Rob Roensch, winner of The International Scott Prize for Short Stories, and author of In the Morning, the City is the Prairie, The World and the Zoo, and The Wildflowers of Baltimore. Participation is free!

OCU’s Jeanne Hoffman Smith Center for Film & Literature is hosting the second fall session of Let’s Talk About It on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The theme “Sovereign Worlds” will continue with a presentation and conversation hosted by Dr. Hugh Foley from Rogers State University.

This session is free and open to the public at 6:30 p.m. in OCU’s Petree College Walker Center. Books are available to borrow at the Dulaney-Browne Library. No membership required.

The Wide Open Experimental Film Festival (WOEFF) submission deadline is Oct. 31! Accepted works include anything that falls under the broad umbrella of "experimental film." Submissions must be 25 min or less. Submit on FilmFreeway!
