Meet Kristi Hack, MSRC, RRT, Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice in Health Sciences and Administration!

Her focus? Helping respiratory care students transition smoothly from the classroom into clinical settings.

Kristi Hack is developing a training program for preceptors and staff to help them feel more comfortable teaching, ensuring students feel welcomed, engaged, and prepared to care for patients.

Quick facts about Kristi Hack:

🩺 Inspired to join the field after an adult asthma diagnosis, she wants to help people recognize the essential role respiratory therapists play in healthcare.

💡 Her favorite part of the job is seeing a student experience an a-ha moment when a tough concept finally clicks.

⚾ Outside of work, she and her husband own the Casper Spuds, a summer-league baseball team in Wyoming that won their league championship in 2024!

She has been in the area for about a month and a half and is excited to get involved in the local community. Welcome, Kristi Hack, MSRC, RRT! 👋

Meet Dr. Kimberly Pusey, the newest addition to UWF Psychology!

As a clinical faculty member, Dr. Pusey is passionate about innovative teaching and creating meaningful learning experiences for students. Her work and interests also focus on understanding criminal behavior, including the factors and context that shape different outcomes.

One of her favorite parts of teaching is helping students find meaning in their work and supporting them as they take their next steps toward graduate school.

When she’s not teaching, Dr. Pusey loves all things creative—from creative writing and photography to drawing, roller skating, and ballet!
