The California primary election is next week (June 2) and if you want to vote in-person you can do so on both our Nevada County and Rocklin campuses from May 30 - June 2 in an official Vote Center or you can use the ballot drop box on our Rocklin campus by the parking garage. More information about the upcoming election including information about same day voter registration, vote center hours and locations and more can be found at https://sierra.college/vote

The Spring Semester is officially over, but did you know that Sierra College students can still use our Ride Free program over summer break to access free bus transportation? All you need to do is show your Sierra College ID (with ASSC sticker) when you board many local transit agencies. Free bus rides can be used anywhere in the service area, not just to and from Sierra College. For more information go to https://sierra.college/RideFree

Transit partners include Roseville Transit, Placer County Transit, Auburn Transit, South Placer County Transit, Nevada County Connects and Lake Tahoe Transit (TNT/TMA)!

All Sierra College campuses will be closed tomorrow (May 25) in observance of Memorial Day as we take time to remember and honor those who have given their lives in service to our country.

Beginning this week (May 29) all Sierra College campuses will be closed on Fridays through August 7 over the summer break.

The big night is almost here! We can't wait to celebrate the Class of 2026 this Friday at Commencement. Here are a few tips and important links for graduates and guests joining us:

Parking fills up quickly. Arrive early AND carpool!
No balloons, confetti cannons or heels allowed on the football field.
Check the weather and dress accordingly (it may be warm).

This annual show features the work of students from Sierra College’s Art, Photography, and Applied Art and Design Programs.
