🎓 Student Spotlight: Meet Rabia Ahsan!

A proud two-time Hornet, Rabia earned her bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Sacramento State before returning to pursue her Master of Science in Business Analytics. As Director of Commerce and Logistics for Sacramento-based music company Please & Thank You, she is already applying skills from the program—including data analysis, SQL, R, and Python—to improve decision-making and introduce innovative strategies in her workplace.

Balancing graduate school with a full-time leadership role and raising two children takes determination, but Rabia’s advice is simple: “You have to be consistent to be successful. Just keep going.”

We’re proud to have Rabia as part of the College of Business community and inspired by the way she is using analytics to lead, innovate, and create better business outcomes.

Meet Michael Daly, Executive Director of Graduate Programs at the Sac State College of Business! 💚🐝

A proud first-generation college graduate, Mike began at a community college before earning degrees from two CSU campuses and a doctorate from the University of the Pacific. His career in education began abroad as an ESL teacher in Japan—an experience that shaped his appreciation for different cultures, languages, and foods.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family. He is also working on his guitar skills, learning Spanish, Italian, and Japanese—and perfecting his BBQ technique! 🎸🌎

We’re proud to have Mike in our College of Business community!
