As we transition into new leadership, meet the Troops To Engineers team:
Director - Anita Romero-Ridley
I served six years in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Electronics Technician aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. I am currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering at SDSU. My long-term goal is to become a patent attorney, combining my technical background with law to help protect innovation, intellectual property, and new technologies.
Program Assistant - Tim Szpara
I served eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a CNC Machinist, Logistician, and Combat Marksmanship Trainer. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at SDSU with a focus on power electronics. My career goal is to work with vehicle power systems and contribute to a more sustainable future in transportation.
