SDSU Global Campus is the primary San Diego State University entity responsible for leading in the delivery of innovative educational experiences to all learners everywhere. SDSU Global Campus will work with the SDSU academic departments to build, promote, and manage programs designed for all types of students. Those include multi-site, off-site, and online courses, as well as Winter Session and o

ther programs that fall outside the traditional school year. The goal of SDSU Global Campus is to extend SDSU, without boundaries, across the bi-national region, the state, and the world. SDSU Global Campus will ensure that each student has the same positive experience with SDSU from start to finish, no matter where they are located.

Robert Ruiz didn’t take the traditional path to earning his degree.

It took more than a decade, several colleges, and balancing a full-time career before he finally crossed the finish line through SDSU Online.

So we surprised him at work with the degree he worked so hard to earn. ❤️🖤

Robert completed his B.A. in Economics while working at the San Diego County Office of Education and is already continuing his journey through SDSU Online’s Master of Public Administration program.

As commencement week begins, we’re celebrating the many different paths that lead to this moment.

Congratulations, Robert!
