Texas finally has its first NCAA DI women's gymnastics program and it's calling TXST home. Competition tentatively begins Spring 2028.

Texas has produced 19 Olympians, 43 world champions, and 25% of the nation's elite talent — yet has never had a Division I program. That changes now. Welcome to Texas State Gymnastics!

TXST freshman Ja’Shaun Lloyd is making history on the track, dominating the Sun Belt and setting school records in hurdles and sprints. Now, the Bobcat standout has his sights set on the NCAA Championships and beyond:

Freshman Ja’Shaun Lloyd dominated the Sun Belt this year, winning outdoor titles in hurdles and sprints. A strong NCAA West showing could give him a shot at a national crown in the 110-meter hurdles.
