Please be aware that the Student Health and Counseling Center as well as the Walter J. Hawrys Campus Recreation Center will be closed for the entire week of May 25th for annual cleaning.

Student Health and Counseling Center will continue to answer phones for any questions and appointment scheduling. For immediate care, please use TimelyCare.

Attention Stony Brook Community – As you may be aware, the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) union is prepared to strike starting Saturday, May 16. If the strike moves forward, train services would be suspended, impacting students, staff, and faculty who rely on the train to come to campus. In anticipation of the potential impact, please be advised of the following contingency plans.

As you may be aware, the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) unions are prepared to strike starting Saturday, May 16. If the strike goes into effect, train service will be suspended, directly affecting students, faculty, and staff who commute to campus by train.
