🔬 Summer Research in Action! 🌟

This summer, we were excited to welcome three high school students to research labs within our department through summer research programs.

👏 Rosalie Dyer from Toledo Technology Academy and Sohan Gaddipati from Perrysburg High School conducted research in Dr. Qian Chen’s lab. Emily Timmerman from Ottawa Hills High School joined Dr. Wei Nui’s lab for the summer research program.

Big shout out to the grad students from the Chen and Nui labs that helped mentor these new scientists.

All three students wrapped up their summer research experience by presenting their work at the University of Toledo’s student research symposium on July 29! 🎓🧪

We’re proud to see these young scientists gaining hands-on research experience and sharing their work with the university community. Great job, Rosalie, Sohan, and Emily! 👏🧬
