A Post-Secondary Technical College offering Career and Technical Workforce Training Programs, GED Prep classes, English as a Second Language and life long learning classes. In 1982, the school started the Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide programs. ACE expanded its medical programs by adding Medical Biller/Coder, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy, and Practical
Nursing.
The practical nursing program was first approved
by the Florida Board of Nursing in 2007. In 2011, Adult and
Community Education was accredited by the Commission of
Council on Occupational Education. Career education programs are continually refined through the development and implementation of the Florida Department of Education curriculum frameworks and collaboration with industry, community agencies, economic development, and Region 20 Workforce Board. Small classes, individual attention, state-of-art technology, and faculty who are experts in their field make this school the choice for many citizens in the surrounding area. In 2018, Adult and Community Education officially changed its name to Treasure Coast Technical College.
