Need a Room Change? Here’s What You Need to Know!

The Room Change Request Form is available now through September 11th at 12:00 pm through the USH Resident Portal.

Key Dates:
▫️Request form open: Now–September 11th at 12:00 pm
▫️Meetings with Residence Life: Starting September 14th
▫️Room Change/Moving Period: Starting September 21st

Laundry Tips for Better Results!

✔️ Load by space, not weight — clothes need room to move and clean properly.
✔️ Don’t over pack the washing machine — if you have to push clothes down, it’s too full.
✔️ Let clothes move freely — items should sink, roll, and reappear during the wash cycle.

🛏️ Washing bulky items?
Comforters and blankets should be washed in front-loading machines or taken to a laundromat (or home) for best results.

💧 Choose the right water level
Select a setting that allows clothes to move easily through the water.

⚠️ Avoid overloading
Overloading can lead to:
• Poor cleaning
• Wrinkled clothes
• Possible machine damage!

💡 When in doubt:
Split items into two loads for the best results.

Clean clothes + healthy machines = everyone wins! 🧼
