Whittier College is a four-year, independent, liberal arts college distinguished by its small size, a nationally recognized liberal arts curriculum and innovative interdisciplinary programs. Whittier College offers students a choice of 30 majors in 23 disciplines, or the option of a self-designed major through the Whittier Scholars Program—all of which lead to a bachelor of arts degree. From the classroom to hands-on community impact, Marin Hensley ’26 made the most of her Whittier experience. 💜💛

The business administration major and student-athlete combined academic learning with real-world experience through Whittier’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program — and this fall, she’ll continue her journey in USC’s Master of Business Taxation program.

Her advice to future Poets: “Always take opportunities to learn and grow. Do not be afraid to put yourself out there!”

Thanks to a generous gift from Trustee Fred Anderson ’66 and Marilyn Anderson, all Whittier College residence halls will be air-conditioned beginning this fall. 💜💛

The investment will bring high-efficiency AC upgrades to Ball, Johnson and Stauffer Halls — enhancing wellbeing and the first-year residential experience for future Poets.

This meaningful enhancement reflects Whittier’s continued commitment to creating supportive living and learning environments where students can thrive academically, socially and personally.
