Practical skills. Creative thinking. A project to be proud of! 🔨
Our Year 11 Construction and Trade students planned, designed, and built play kitchens for Nightcliff Primary School, putting their skills to the test from thoughtful design through to construction.
On Friday, they presented the finished kitchens to an appreciative school community and saw the joy their hard work brought.
Well done to everyone involved!

Congratulations to three of our Construction and Trade students heading into Year 12 with school-based apprenticeships secured! 👏

James secured an apprenticeship commencing in 2027 with McMahon Services after demonstrating his work ethic and genuine interest during work placement. Exploring different industries helped him discover where his skills could take him.

Yiannis is getting a head start in plumbing with JN Mousellis Civil Contractors, after work placements helped confirm his career direction. His father, Peter, says: “SEDA has done an exceptional job with this program, and I couldn’t recommend it more.”

Tom is turning his passion for cars into a career, completing a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology while working towards finishing Year 12.
