Congratulations to JCA student Simmi Kalsi on receiving sponsorship from Holland & Sherry for her final collection look.

Through her brand SYMA by Sima, Simmi explores grief, heritage, and identity by combining traditional Punjabi craftsmanship and silhouettes with contemporary womenswear tailoring and androgynous influences. Inspired by the loss of her grandmother, the collection is both deeply personal and a celebration of culture and history.

Renowned for supplying luxury fabrics to Savile Row tailors and leading fashion houses, Holland & Sherry’s sponsorship supports the creation of Simmi’s final look using fine wool fabrics, helping bring her vision to life through craftsmanship, heritage, and storytelling.

The BA Fashion Design, Branding and Entrepreneurship graduate show is the moment three years of design development, commercial positioning and brand building is presented for judgement.

Every piece on that runway carries a name, a direction and a point of view that has been tested, challenged and resolved.

Open Day | JCA Boston Manor
Saturday 30th, May 11:00–12:00

JCA is a recognised UK higher education institution delivering BA and MA degrees in fashion design and entrepreneurship, based in Boston Manor, London.

The Open Day will cover:
* How the degree is structured
* How industry engagement is embedded in the programme
* What is expected of students
* Where graduates progress after completing the degree

At JCA, the day is the training.
Concepts are developed, challenged and rebuilt. Garments are constructed, assessed against technical standards and refined. Accessories are prototyped, presented and pushed further.
Work is critiqued directly. Decisions are questioned. Every piece is expected to hold up against both creative intent and commercial logic.
By the end of the programme, students present a completed collection, a professional portfolio and a defined position in the industry.
