Here’s how our first Walk with Nature went back in February!

We took a mindful stroll along the Kinness Burn, and noticed so much, from the sound of rain droplets to mysterious mushrooms. It was a refreshing reconnection with nature on our doorstep!

Thanks to all who came along and keep an eye out for the next🚶‍♀️🐦‍⬛

Free screening of 'Consider a Tomato' TOMORROW, 3-5pm in School II, United College!
Followed by a Q&A with filmmaker Marina Sulima.

🎬Join the Centre for Global Postsocialisms for a FREE screening of Consider a Tomato and Q&A with filmmaker Marina Sulima.

Tomorrow, Wednesday the 25th from 3-5 pm
School II, St Salvator's Quad.

Everyone is welcome!

🍅 Consider cutting a tomato open, consider the worlds contained within. Consider a recipe for pickled tomatoes in a world full of LED-light grown, rock-wool sown tomatoes. Consider following tomatoes from closed-off Dutch greenhouses to Moldova, home to the filmmaker and many greenhouse workers, who leave their own tomato patches to work behind glass walls. Consider your guide to be a manuscript full of family recipes and countless ways of fermenting tomatoes.
