During the 78th Federation of Mindanao State University Supreme Student Councils (FEMSUSSCO) Executive Summit held at the Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), the Mindanao State University TCTO (MSU TCTO), spearheaded by SSC President Mustashar H. Astarani, successfully sponsored and championed the proposed resolution, "Red Ribbon Policy," promoting proactive HIV awareness and education across the MSU System through the Supreme Student Councils (SSCs), Supreme Student Governments (SSGs), and KASAMA.

The proposed resolution seeks to institutionalize proactive HIV awareness through health education, peer education, open dialogue, and campus-based initiatives that promote accurate information, reduce stigma, and encourage responsible health-seeking behavior among students throughout the MSU System through their respective SSCs, SSGs, and KASAMA.

In line with the observance of World AIDS Day every December 1, the initiative aims to strengthen awareness and advocacy efforts within the MSU System. Following deliberations, the proposed resolution was approved by the Federation for endorsement and notation by the Mindanao State University Board of Regents (BOR).

This resolution was endorsed by the Legislative Branch of the MSU TCTO Supreme Student Council (SSC), with Krizzhamae F. Robles serving as its primary author.

The MSU TCTO community hopes for a positive response as the resolution will be presented and lobbied before the Board of Regents, paving the way for a more unified and sustained commitment to HIV awareness, education, and student well-being across the MSU System.
