Representatives from Cebu Technological University (CTU), Cebu Normal University (CNU), and Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) conducted a benchmarking visit at Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) today, October 27.

The visit aimed to enhance the visiting institutions' scholarship programs, administrative policies, and student services by studying NORSU's best practices, accomplishments, and operational frameworks.

Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, headed by Dr. Cesar P. Estrope, hosted the delegation. Participating offices included Student Development and Services, Institutional Student Programs and Services, the CARE Unit, the Scholarship Unit, the Gender and Development Office, and the Alumni Office.

During the activity, heads and staff from the participating offices shared insights into their ongoing initiatives and administrative strategies to assist the visiting state universities in evaluating and refining their student support systems.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 | Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) - Main Campus achieved a 100% overall passing rate in the October 2026 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination, ranking first among top-performing schools with 10–19 examinees and with an at least 80% passing rate.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 1,804 out of 2,057 examinees passed, yielding a national passing rate of 87.72%.

Additionally, NORSU recorded a 50% overall passing rate in the October 2026 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination, exceeding the national passing rate of 47.33%.

NORSU proudly congratulates its new Electronics Technicians and Electronics Engineers on this remarkable achievement!

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 | Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) - Main Campus, through the College of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Health Sciences (CNPAHS), ranked fourth among the top-performing schools in the category of 50–99 examinees with at least an 80% passing rate in the October 2026 Pharmacists Licensure Examination. NORSU Main achieved a 92.42% overall passing rate, surpassing the national passing rate of 77.47%.

Based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today, October 21, NORSU also recorded a 93.85% passing rate among first-time takers.

NORSU proudly congratulates its newly registered pharmacists on this success. Kudos to CNPAHS for bringing honor to the university!

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 | Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) Main Campus achieved a 100% passing rate among first-time examinees in the October 2026 Chemical Technician Licensure Examination (CTLE).

NORSU Main Campus also recorded an overall passing rate of 95.83% in the CTLE, surpassing the national passing rate of 86.85%.

Meanwhile, in the Chemist Licensure Examination held on October 2026, NORSU Main Campus achieved an 88.89% passing rate among first-time examinees and an overall passing rate of 76.67%, surpassing the national passing rate of 76.36%.

NORSU congratulates its newly licensed chemists and chemical technicians, as well as the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Chemistry, on this remarkable achievement.
