IN PHOTOS: SPUI Celebrates Excellence at PARANGAL 2026
St. Paul University Iloiloโs Marian Theater was alive with pride and inspiration as Paulinians gathered last June 10 for PARANGAL 2026, a grand celebration honoring outstanding achievements rooted in faith, integrity, compassion, and commitment.
The event, organized by the Office of Student Affairs & Services, commenced with opening remarks from Sr. Teresita Baricaua, SPC, University President, who underscored the significance of embodying the spirit of excellence and living out the Paulinian values of faith, integrity, compassion, and commitment in every endeavor.
Adding prestige to the celebration, Hon. Esara Aldeguer Javier, PPSK President/Ex Officio Board Member, Province of Iloilo, graced the event as the guest speaker. In her inspiring message, she encouraged the Paulinian community to pursue their aspirations with courage, perseverance, and purpose. Inspiring Paulinians to continue striving for excellence, embrace opportunities for growth, and remain steadfast in their commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. Her message served as a reminder that true success is rooted in both achievement and service.
Throughout the event, exemplary students from the College of Nursing, College of Arts, Sciences, and Education, College of Business and Information Technology, College of Rehabilitation Sciences, and College of Hospitality Management, Tourism, Nutrition and Dietetics were recognized for their dedication and commitment to service.
Mr. Rustum Guanzon delivered the closing remarks, inspiring attendees to carry forward the spirit of excellence beyond the campus.
The event highlighted the values that define a true Paulinianโfaith, leadership, and serviceโwhile celebrating their talents.
