Students from the College of Human Kinetics (CHK) brought home three wins from the 8th National NCPEP Fit-Fun Conference, an annual gathering of sports educators and professionals that promotes physical wellness and education.

Jaeron Mathew Manliclic, Harold Kit Balignot, Lance Roi Osayan, Alfonso Joaquin Almeda, and Angel Edward Maglente claimed the championship title in the Skillympics. Meanwhile, Asher Benedict Fajura and Jeffrey Domen took top honors in the Quiz Bee.

Adding to the victory, Miguel Besana earned a special award during the research forum.

[Advisory 2026-037] In view of Memorandum Circular No. 135 issued by the Office of the President and in response to the inclement weather caused by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, the University of Makati announces the following guidelines for today, September 10, 2026.

1. All classes across all levels will transition to online synchronous modality.

2. For students with RLE and internship, please note that your attendance will depend on the guidelines and operational status of your respective Host Training Establishments.

3. Administrative offices will operate under an alternative work arrangement.

Congratulations to the UMak Women's Basketball team and Coach Dale Lacorte for placing 3rd in the 3x3 Basketball Seniors Division of the 57th Women's National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA)!

Centro Escolar University claimed the championship, followed by San Beda College Alabang in 2nd place.

Kudos to the athletes for bringing the first win of the season!

A cm laude graduate of the College of Business Administration, Santos is the founder of Integra Multi Services, a digital marketing and community consultancy serving retail brands, technology companies, and startups. He has also represented the Philippines at the Young Founders Summit, an international entrepreneurship bootcamp supported by the Singapore Government.

Among six Makati Public Schools participants, Higher School ng UMak won 1st Place in Cook Like A Pro, a culinary competition hosted by Barangay Urdaneta, with their main course - Nutty Kare-Katsu.

Schallia Aikah Herrera, Ariane Jayde Leoncio, Kim Candelaria, Dence Charmel Capuno, and Faith Shadle Cabauatan proudly represented the HSU under the guidance of teacher-coaches Ivan Tejana, and Eloisa Calcaben.
