Following the incredible success of last year’s festival, we’re excited to once again bring the vibrant flavors, culture, music, and traditions of Latin America to the heart of Makati.

We’re now inviting restaurants, cafés, food brands, specialty shops, artisans, and businesses offering Latin American food and non-food products to be part of Sabor Latino 2026.

Just a friendly reminder to all students that 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫.

Your medical clearance will be valid throughout AY 2026-2027 and is required for your participation in off-campus activities and sports tournaments.

Please refer to the instructions for the steps on how to update your medical clearance, whether you are an Upperclass or Frosh.

Reminder for Upperclass students:

• OJTs and internships: Medical clearance must still be completed through a clinic of choice and/or a private physician.

• NSTP 02 Medical Requirements: Students who have already registered for the NSTP 02 Annual Physical Examination may consider this email no longer applicable to them.

The Benilde School of Diplomacy and Governance extends our deepest gratitude and congratulations to Dr. Gary Ador Dionisio for having successfully completed his tenure as the Dean of the School of Diplomacy and Governance from 2019 to 2026.

Huge round of applause for our student leaders from the 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐒𝐃𝐆), who just brought their A-game to Singapore for the 3𝒓𝒅 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒖𝒎 (SSLF)!

From 30 June to 7 July, our very own 𝘋𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘧𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴 (DIA) and 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘈𝘧𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴 (GPA) delegates joined forces with young changemakers from around the world to tackle real-world issues.

Organized by the 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, this week-long forum was packed with interactive workshops, company visits, and an intense social innovation hackathon focused on UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.

Talk about putting SDG for SDGs into action! Our SDG student leaders put their diplomacy, international relations, and governance skills to the test—proving once again that critical thinking, resourcefulness, creativity, and world-class communication are second nature to Benildeans.

Because of their incredible performance (and rave reviews from the organizers!), we’re making it official: SSLF is now a regular staple in the SDG Institutional Exchange and Training (IET) agenda!

XO Mondays are part of SDG’s efforts to help students become familiar with professional standards and the expectations of the workplace.

While you’re on campus, students are encouraged to drop by the SDG Office and connect with fellow members of the community.

Starting this Term 1, A.Y. 2026–2027, students under the School of Diplomacy and Governance are expected to wear Professional Business Attire every first Monday of the month.

This policy applies to all on-campus classes and activities, 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐏𝐄 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬.

SDG in collaboration with 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑭𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔, 𝑰𝒏𝒄., and 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 hosted the 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐚𝐫 at the Atrium @ Benilde on 14-15 July 2026. The bazaar featured food prepared by refugees from 7 different countries. This initiative was launched to raise awareness on the plight of displaced persons and help them rebuild their livelihoods through skills development, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.

We thank our partners, members of the community, and guests for the incredible support they showed.
