𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆: 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀
On 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, student leaders of 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆–𝗠𝗶𝗱 𝗟𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 (𝗗𝗠𝗠𝗠𝗦𝗨–𝗠𝗟𝗨𝗖) continued 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆: 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀 – 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹. The day featured two meaningful sessions: 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗶𝗼 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗗. 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗮, Founder and President of Bang-ar: Youth for Mental Health Advocacy Organization, followed by 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗠. 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼, Teacher II at San Fernando South Central Integrated School.
The afternoon brought student leaders together through team-building activities that encouraged trust, communication, cooperation, and unity. Among the participating organizations was the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻–𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗠𝗦𝗕𝗢–𝗕𝗦𝗢𝗔). Two of its officers were part of the teams that earned notable placements: 𝗝𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀 (𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿), was part of the team that secured 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲, while 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 (𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿), was part of the team that earned 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲. Their participation added to the spirit of teamwork and friendly competition that brought student leaders closer together.
As Day 2 came to a close, the lessons on well-being, communication, and teamwork served as a reminder that leadership goes beyond skills and responsibilities. As highlighted during the session, “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬”. With this in mind, Banyuhay continues to foster student leaders who are mindful of their well-being, responsible in their communication, and willing to grow alongside others as they work toward pagbalangkas ng bukas.
