As part of REFTEX 2026, our 4th Year BSHM students from Sorsogon State University showcased their skills, patience, and attention to detail in the Housekeeping and Bed-Making Competition held at Pepperland Hotel on October 23, 2026. Their hard work and dedication earned them 2nd Runner-Up, with the awarding ceremony held at Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City, on October 24, 2026.

Representing Sorsogon State University, our BSHM 4th year students prepared eight varieties of desserts during the Dessert Buffet Competition held at Pepperland Hotel, with their six-layer Christmas celebration cake as the centerpiece. The team also received compliments and valuable tips from Ms. Janice De Belen and the other judges, making the experience even more meaningful and memorable.

At the recently concluded 𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗫 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City, 𝑨𝒃𝒅𝒖𝒍 𝑴𝒐𝒋𝒊𝒃 𝑰𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒉𝒊𝒎, a first year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management student of Sorsogon State University emerged as 1st Runner-Up in the REFTEX Red Carpet Competition, bringing home two more distinctions that showcase his confidence, creativity, and talent.
