From best friends to house roommates x exec!! Introducing Lola & Izzy for this !👯‍♀️💕😄🩵

As soon as Izzy and I met, I knew we would be best friends. Freshman year can be daunting, but after meeting someone as driven, optimistic and outgoing as Izzy from the start, I knew I was going to be okay.
We immediately started spending all of our time together, whether it was JCL Grilled Cheese Thursdays (iykyk), late nights studying in the house or carpooling to chapter every Monday. Now, we are both serving on Exec and are about to begin our second year as roommates, which is a huge accomplishment if you’ve ever shared a room with someone (shoutout to the ADPi house).
I’m so excited for the year to come and to be a testament to the fact that ADPi gives you so much more than a sisterhood. It gives you your best friends. -Lola, PC ‘28🩵

I met Lola during my freshman year on Bid Day. Early on, we decided to move into the ADPi house for our sophomore year, and living with Lola this past year has made me strive to be the best version of myself. She is the most genuine, dedicated, and hardworking friend I have. From filling out our officer applications together to now serving on the ADPi executive board, Lola has been there through it all. I can’t wait to move into our first apartment together and make even more memories walking around Lady Bird Lake, going on matcha/coffee runs, and stealing from her (our) closet. This friendship has become more than I ever imagined when I first chose ADPi. Lola isn’t just a friend to me; she is truly the sister I always wished I had.“ -Izzy, PC ‘28🩵

In honor of recruitment registration opening in 3 DAYS, we are so excited to introduce our recruitment captains, Julia & Avery!!💎🤸‍♀️📣

“I couldn’t imagine my life today if I hadn’t made the choice two years ago to go through formal recruitment. Coming to UT as an out-of-state student from California, not knowing anyone and being hundreds of miles away from home, was both exciting and incredibly daunting. I was unsure if recruitment was the right decision for me, but it ended up being one of the most defining experiences of my life at UT and beyond.
Through ADPi, I found not only 300 sisters, but also lifelong friendships, endless support, and women who wholeheartedly love and accept me for exactly who I am. The women in this chapter have pushed me to grow into a more confident, genuine, and compassionate version of myself, and I truly cannot imagine my college experience without them.
As Recruitment Director, getting to help welcome home a new member class is so special to me because I know firsthand how meaningful this experience can be. I cannot wait to meet and welcome home AC ’26!” -Julia🩵

Walking into ADPI, I could see the love and adoration these girls had for each other and for us. As soon as I talked to the girl who is now my big, I immediately knew I was at home! The girls at ADPI have continued to be some of the most genuine people I have ever known, and I am so lucky to have found these wonderful girls that I get to call lifelong best friends!!”
