GCC Student Engagement & Inclusion

GCC Student Engagement & Inclusion Located in the Student Union. Student Activities staff members serve as advisors to the Student Government and the Campus Activities Board.

The Office of Student Engagement & Inclusion works to provide co-curricular programs to GCC’s students, including social events that allow students to get a chance to meet people and just have some fun, as well as workshops and educational programs for student development and cultural awareness. The office works closely with College Village, the residence life at Genesee Community

s also helps in coordinating larger college programs including New Student Orientation, Leadership Certificate Program workshops, the Spring Awards Banquet, and the May Commencement ceremony. Through these student groups, the office hosts such events as Fall and Spring Fests, Info Fairs, Blood Drives, Up All Nite, Holiday Bazaar, Cool Kids, Lunchtime Lives, Breakfast with Santa, Dinner and a Movie, Pizza Parties, Open Mic Poetry Nights, and Week of Welcome programs, among many others! The Student Activities Office also oversees the 40+ clubs and organizations at the college, and hosts a monthly Lunch Bunch program that brings the clubs together for a roundtable discussion and opportunity to share updates.

Show Your GCC Spirit! 💙💛

Tomorrow, Friday, September 4 is National College Colors Day! Join SE&I at 12:30 p.m. by the Clocktower on the main campus for a campus community photo featuring students, faculty, and staff.

Wear your royal blue and yellow and help us show off that GCC spirit!

National College Colors Day is an annual U.S. celebration that brings students, alumni, faculty, and fans together to wear their college colors and proudly celebrate their school spirit.
