Working in behavioral health in Oregon? You can work toward your Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (CADC I) credential in three semesters while continuing to earn a paycheck. Along the way, you can earn college credit toward your degree without taking on student loan debt.

If you missed it, the Apprenticeship College of Health (ACH) launched in Oregon through a partnership between Healthcare Training Fund, Reach University, and United We Heal!

Applications for Spring 2027 are now open! To enroll, candidates must be employed by an eligible ACH employer partner.

When Donishia Dorsey returned to college, she worked in the front office of Audubon Charter School in New Orleans.

Through Reach University’s Apprenticeship Degree, Donishia continued working at her school while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies without student loan debt.

Today, she serves as a Network Data Manager supporting four New Orleans schools and is pursuing a Master of Arts with a concentration in Higher Education Administration at Louisiana State University.
