Happy Tuesday, Tigers!

Do you miss FFA? Or maybe you’ve never been involved in FFA but would love to get more connected to agriculture, leadership, service, and other students on campus?

We’re having an interest meeting to talk about what Collegiate FFA could look like, hear what students are interested in, and start brainstorming activities, events, leadership opportunities, and service projects.

You do NOT have to be an AEEE major or have previous FFA experience to participate! Whether you grew up in FFA, are studying agriculture, or are simply interested in getting involved, we’d love to have you there.

We’re just 15 members away from 75, and reaching 75 would make this our largest membership drive ever! 🎉

Last year, 66 alumni and friends joined during the membership drive. This year, we have a chance to beat that record! Your support helps provide scholarships, student success initiatives, recruitment efforts, and alumni engagement opportunities. 💜💛

Congratulations to Dr. Kristin Stair, LSU AEEE Professor and Department Head, who will be recognized at National FFA Convention for being a recipient of the National FFA VIP Citation Award!

The VIP Citation is a prestigious national honor awarded by the National FFA Organization to individuals who have dedicated 20 or more years of service to agricultural education and the FFA at the national level.

So proud of our AEEE students chosen to participate in the 2026 LSU AgCenter Extension Summer Internship Program where they participated in meaningful hands-on experiential learning they learned in their college coursework to real-world situations while developing professional skills, leadership abilities, and a deeper understanding of careers in agriculture, natural resources, youth development, nutrition and community health, community development, and related fields. Congratulations Allie Hubbard - LSU AgCenter Communications Intern, Emma Duvall - West Baton Rouge Extension Intern, and Taylor Stubblefield - Louisiana House Intern on the LSU campus for your excellent work in the internship program this summer!
