Meet Boise State junior Jorge Montoya.

Raised in Nampa, Idaho, on a small farm, Jorge is the son of immigrants from Mexico and is now majoring in accounting, finance, and quantitative economics at Boise State. He hopes to one day open his own business or accounting firm and help others through that work.

For Jorge, scholarship support has meant more than financial assistance — it has been a reminder that others believe in him and his potential.

“Scholarships have provided me the opportunity to come to college."
