-Quality Clinical Education: Provision of clinical education experiences that develop clinical proficiencies in AT. Diverse Clinical Opportunities: Expand opportunities for students to obtain clinical experience in industrial worksites and corporate health promotion programs.
-Evidence-based Practice: Integration of best research evidence with clinical expertise and patient values and circumstances to make decisions about the care of individual patients.
-Communication Skills: Development of the ability to effectively communicate with both written and oral presentations.
-Technology/Health Care Informatics: The use of information technology to manage clinical data and access the most recent evidence pertaining to optimum patient care.
-Health Care Delivery and Finance: Facilitation of student understanding of the athletic trainer’s evolving role within the U.S. health care delivery system.
-Continuous Quality Improvement: Recognition of the need for constant self-evaluation and life-long learning, including the ability to identify a quality improvement objective, specify changes that are expected to produce an improvement, and quantitatively confirm that an improvement resulted from implementation of the change.
