Tomorrow, the community is invited to attend 9/11: A Day of Remembrance, a special commemorative program honoring the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and recognizing the resilience, strength, courage and service demonstrated in the years that followed.

The program features guest speaker Andrew Smith, U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division veteran and co-founder of the Honoring the Sacrifice Foundation, along with live music, the UTC ROTC Color Guard and remarks from local leaders.

Free and open to UTC students, faculty, staff, alumni, military-connected families and community members.

This mother-daughter duo shares more than a connection. They share a UTC legacy.

More than 20 years after Tonya Cobb ('03) found her home at UTC, her daughter, Shayne Hanner, is creating a legacy of her own while carrying on a family tradition that spans generations of Mocs.
