This , we’re honoring Richard G. Moulton, the first Extension School faculty member and a pioneer of lifelong learning at the University of Chicago.

Recruited from Cambridge University, he helped extend rigorous literary education beyond campus, teaching adult learners across the Midwest.

His vision helped lay the foundation for the Graham School’s enduring commitment to liberal education for all.
