Inspired by her mother’s experience with heart failure, CWRU nursing PhD candidate Rania Aljohani is researching how patients’ understanding of their condition and health information relates to their ability to manage heart failure at home and their quality of life 💙

On Saturday, Oct. 10, 11 members of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing community earned the profession's highest honor at the 2026 American Academy of Nursing Fellow Induction ceremony.

Fellows are selected through a rigorous nomination and review process and represent nursing's most accomplished leaders in policy, research, administration, practice and academia. The group gathered with other FPB members for a celebration before the induction ceremony.
